      Amadablam Expedition 2020

      Mt. Amadablam, located at a height of 6170m is one of the major touristic destinations in the Everest region. This less challenging trek doesn’t require technical climbing experience but one should have the good physical stamina to complete this trek. One can get a good opportunity to explore the unique culture and lifestyle of people living in the Himalayan region. You will also explore a wide variety and species of animals and birds found in this region.

      Mt. Ama Dablam Expedition starts from Kathmandu where our representative will welcome and greet you in the Tribhuvan International Airport. You will then take a scenic flight to Lukla which will be the starting point of our trek. We will then trek ahead to reach the Camp I have also known as the first camp passing the dense forests and Sherpa settlements. We will then trek ahead to reach Camp II which will be a bit challenging as we have to trek via a rocky bowl.  The Dablam. One can get an opportunity to do the sightseeing of some of the famous and highest mountain ranges of our country.

      Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1400m):

      Namaste and welcome to the country of Nepal. You will be welcomed by our representative in the Tribhuvan International Airport and then transferred to our hotel in Kathmandu. At evening, you will be welcomed by an authentic Nepalese cuisine in one of the typical Nepalese restaurants of Thamel and then we will do a briefing about the itinerary of our trip. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

      Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing including Bhaktapur and Lalitpur:

      After an early morning breakfast, we will head towards the beautiful and ancient places of Kathmandu valley which includes the world heritage sites, temples, places and other many beautiful things. Talking about Kathmandu, this place is a paradise to the tourists of all over the world and one can get an opportunity to relax his/her body form head to toe by doing the sightseeing of some of the iconic things of the world. You will be taken to Pashupatinath temple which is one of the most religious and historical temples of Kathmandu. Thousands of devotees from Nepal, India and all over the world come to this ancient temple for their rituals and celebrations. After the visit of Pashupatinath, we will drive for 15-20 minutes to do the sightseeing of Bouddhanath stupa. After exploring these historical monuments, we will be doing the sightseeing of ancient Durbar squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. Visiting Lalitpur and Bhaktapur will give you an opportunity to see the living goddess, Kumari and explore the ancient streets filled with arts and architects. A refreshing evening walk on the streets of Thamel and Basantapur will make you feel Kathmandu a really cool and historical place and you will also explore lots of new things in these streets. At afternoon, we will be back to our hotel and do the briefing of Everest Expedition trip. You will be guided about some of the important rules and suggestions for the trip such as what is your responsibility, what to do and what not to do on the trek? You will be then introduced to your fellow expedition staffs and guides and relax the hotel after dinner. Overnight at Hotel.

      Day 03: Mountain flight to Lukla (2800m) and Trek to Phakding (2600m): 

      You will take an early morning flight to Lukla. This 25minute short mountain flight gives you a pre-opportunity to do the sightseeing of Himalayan ranges from the aircraft. Once you reach Lukla you will take a short break and then trek to Phakding which takes about 3 hours. Overnight at tea house lodge.

      Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazar (3440m):

      Today is going to be an exciting day of our trip as we will trek along the bank of DudhKoshi river. We will trek to the gateway of Everest, Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar also known as the “Thamel of Everest” is a luxurious valley in the Khumbu region which has a numerous number of hotels, restaurants, lodges, spas, Atm’s and other many luxurious things. We will then trek to Manjo and then check for a permit and stay overnight at a tea house lodge

      Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche Bazar:

      Today is our acclimatization day and we will do the sightseeing of different nearby authentic villages of Thame and Khumjung. Exploring these villages and trails will give you an opportunity to view some of the beautiful snowcapped Himalayan peaks including Mt. Thamaserku(6608 m), Ama-Dablam (6856 m), Mt. Lhotse (8510m), Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Nuptse (7861m), Island Peak (6189m), Tobuche (6367m) and many other beautiful mountain ranges. Overnight at a tea house lodge.

      Day 06: Namche Bazar to Debuche:

      Trekking further along the route of Dudhkoshi river will take us to Debuche. We will trek further along with the magnificent views of mountains including Everest, Nuptse, Makalu, Manaslu and other many higher peaks. Trekking further along the route will bring us to Debuche. Overnight at Debuche.

      Day 07: Debuche to Pheriche:

      We will trek another long day to a village named Pangboche which falls on our route to Pheriche. Trekking along the view of Everest, Nuptse, Makalu, Lhotse, etc. will bring us to Pheriche where we will acclimatize for a day to be fit on the higher altitudes.

      Day 08: Acclimatization on Pheriche:

      Today will be our acclimatizing day on Pheriche. This will give you a chance to minimize the AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness). We will get an opportunity to climb a terrain above Pheriche village which will give us an experience to trek on the higher altitudes. Overnight at Pheriche

      Day 09: Pheriche to AmaDablam Base Camp:

      We will begin our today’s trek from Pheriche and cross the Dudhkoshi river. We will then ascend to reach the base camp of AmaDablam. The base camp is large and located on the grassland of AmaDablam. Overnight at a tented camp.

      Day 10: Accilimatization and Pre-training at the base camp:

      Today you will be guided to trek on the higher altitudes using climbing gears such as axe, ropes, etc. You will also relax on the extreme weather so that you will be used to on these extreme conditions. Training includes climbing up and down through the ropes using snow axes. Overnight at the base camp.

      Day 11-25: Climbing and Descending the summit of AmaDablam:

      From the AmaDablam Base Camp we move further up to Camp 1 at 5,700m (17,400 ft) along the standard route. Generally, one night is spent at Camp 1 for acclimatization and before returning to the Base Camp for the final preparation to scale the summit. There are three camps above the base camp before reaching the summit. The ascent from Base Camp to Camp 1 is technically challenging. From Camp 1, we follow existing fixed lines and then establish new ropes wherever necessary both for ascent and descent. The climb from Camp 2 to Camp 3 is comprised of mixed rock, snow and ice, which is loose in certain places. The climb from Camp 3 to the summit is relatively less technical. After summiting the peak, we return back to the base camp.

      Day 26-27: Trek to Lukla:

      We will then descend to reach Lukla. Trekking back via Thengboche, Pheriche and Namche Bazar will bring us back at Lukla.

      Day 28: Fly back to Kathmandu:

      We will then take a short flight to fly back to Kathmandu and then do the sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Later at the evening there will be a farewell diner organized by Utmost Adventure to make this trip memorable.

      Day 29: Departure:

      You journey of AmaDablam ends today. You will be transferred to the airport and then you will be departure to your own home country.

       

       

      Amadablam Expedition

      Mt. Amadablam, located at a height of 6170m is one of the major touristic destinations in Everest region. This adventurous trek is designed for those trekkers who wish to trek on the mighty Himalayas of our country and want to gain the mountain climbing experience. Mt. Amadablam, popularly known as “The Matterhorn of Himalaya” is famous due to its unique shape and sharp edge at its peak. Mt. Amadablam meaning mother’s necklace is named after its unique shape which looks like a mother is holding her baby with a necklace of glacier.

      Mt. Amadablam offers the spectacular panoramic mountain ranges views including some of the highest mountains of the world such as Everest (Highest mountain of the world), Lhotse, Thamasarkhu, Kwangde, Kangtenga and a closer view of Amadablam. This less challenging trek doesn’t require technical climbing experience but one should have a good physical stamina to complete this trek. This mountain is also known as the beginner’s mountain as one can take the experience of mountain climbing from this easy and less challenging mountain. One can get a good opportunity to explore the unique culture and lifestyle of people living in the Himalayan region. You will also explore a wide variety and species of animals and birds found in this region.

      Mt. Amabadablam Expedition starts from Kathmandu where our representative will welcome and greet you in the Tribhuvan International Airport. You will then take a scenic flight to Lukla which will be the starting point of our trek. We will then trek ahead to reach the Camp I also known as the first camp passing the dense forests and Sherpa settlements. We will then trek ahead to reach Camp II which will be a bit challenging as we have to trek via a rocky bowl. The final destination of our trek will be the Camp III which is established just below the hanging glacier, The Dablam. One can get an opportunity to do the sightseeing of some of the famous and highest mountain ranges of our country.
