Nawang is originally from the Solukhumbu region of Nepal, where he has spent most of the past 9 years guiding clients around the mountains of his home. In addition to guiding in the Khumbu (Everest Region), Nawang has also led treks in the Annapurna Region of Nepal. He has also led climbs of Island Peak and Nirekha peak in the Everest Region.
