ABOUT

Sanjaya is originally from the Solu Khumbu region of Nepal. He started in the trekking industry in 2010 as a porter but by 2012 he had worked his way up to become a guide. He has completed both his guide training and a course in first aid. Since becoming a guide, Sanjaya has led treks in the Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Upper Mustang, and Langtang regions of Nepal. He has the most frequently led treks to Poon Hill, Upper Mustang, Langtang Valley, and around the Annapurna Circuit. Sanjaya is also an avid musician and when he is not in the mountains he enjoys playing and composing music.
