Himalayan Sherpa Inn is owned and managed by a Sherpa family who came from foothill villages in the Mount Everest Region of Nepal. As the old Nepali saying goes “Atithi Devo Bhava” which translated in English goes “Guests are another form of the Gods”, we extend our greatest hospitality from the deepest part of our heart.

Himalayan Sherpa Inn is situated just a few minutes away from Boudhanath Stupa, The World Biggest Stupa, a major Buddhist worship sites which is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Hyatt Regency Hotel. It is a perfect place for peaceful stay and experience Buddhist cultures as there are many monasteries within a walking distance. The closet one being Shechen Monastery. It is very easy to find taxi and local transportation (bus, three wheeler aka tempo) to the many destinationsin Kathmandu Valley from our Inn.
